One of the people in my life that has been a tremendous inspiration to me over the course of the last 12 years is my ‘sifu’ Master Raymond Lo. Whilst he has been my teacher of Feng Shui and other Chinese metaphysics subjects since 1996, he has been an inspiration to me on so many other levels.

A genuineFeng Shui master from Hong Kong – Master Raymond Lo kindly answered some of the questions posed by western Feng Shui enthusiasts.

I have just returned from a fabulous trip to Europe - the home of Geomancy. Traditionally Geomancy was known as the practice of identifying various ‘earth radiations’ impacting on human behaviour. However, it now seems to incorporate Feng Shui as opposed to being used as an additional service.

This voyage across the seas was purely business oriented - it was the International Feng Shui Congress held in Innsbruck, Austria. How could I not enjoy myself. Innsbruck is just glorious, with its mountainous surrounds and beautiful river rushing through the city. I managed to have an exciting and enjoyable time and made the most of every moment.

For the last 30 plus years there has been a dramatic shift within the western world towards embracing ancient eastern philosophies in general. With the increased awareness has come the realisation and acceptance that there is a lot of validity in their teachings and that these can be integrated into our daily lives for the better. Take a look at acupuncture – once upon a time it was on the periphery of western medicine and now a growing number of people use it and reap the benefits.
